Application Types
Interviews
Some Colleges and Universities require or recommend interviews with the College. Generally, you will meet with an admission counselor or representative and they will ask you questions about yourself and your interest in their institution.

Some big pieces of advice are to be authentic, dress for the occasion, be present and silence your cell phone, and most importantly use this as a time to get to learn more about the institution. Ask questions!
While it makes sense to be nervous, school representative and interviewers try their best to make these as relaxing as possible. This is an opportunity where you are able to truly show who you are, off of paper, so be genuine.

Auditions
Some Majors require auditions. Music, Drama, Dance, TV/Film, and Acting are common majors that require these. Often times they are in person, but sometimes a video audition will suffice. Be sure to research the schools and programs you are considering early, as many schools have select dates of when audition days are.
