RMHS PTO - Welcome Back!

Dear RMHS Families: 

Welcome Back from the RMHS PTO Board:

We hope this letter finds you doing well after an amazing summer and looking forward to the Fall!  RMHS has a lot of exciting things happening this year and we cannot wait to be a part of it all. We cannot do it without all of you. If you have any suggestions, we would love to hear them.  We are looking forward to your involvement with the school, whether it is attending PTO meetings, supporting an academic competition, artistic endeavor, or athletic event. 

RMHS PTO

The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is open to all RMHS parents and guardians and provides the school with much needed financial and advisory support. The PTO meets quarterly and depends on your participation to discuss vital school issues and raise funds for student programs. Please join us at the quarterly PTO meetings this year held at 7:00pm in the RMHS Library.  Meeting dates are October 2nd, January 17th, March 21st & May 8th. Meeting agendas generally include featured speakers, timely topics, and updates from the school and the PTO. Information about meetings and other activities will be posted on the PTO section of the school’s website, the RMHS PTO Facebook page, and in the weekly newsletter.

PTO DUES

(Different from Class Dues) $50 per family (not per student) You can certainly donate more (or less) - this is a suggested starting point.

You may send your annual dues via PayPal or check. You can pay via PayPal using the online link https://bit.ly/2MnjShb (we suggest donating $55 to cover fees) or mail a check to “Attn. RMHS PTO - RMHS Main Office, 62 Oakland Road.” Also, we hope to be able to accept credit card payments at** Back to School night on September 13th**.  The PTO is a 501(c)(3) organization and dues are tax-deductible. We are happy to accept additional donations or matching gifts from your employer. 

In recent years, the PTO dues and funds raised have provided funding for: 

  • agendas
  • class account donations 
  • funding for after school RMHS library hours 
  • books and resource materials for the RMHS library/media center
  • enrichment programs and speakers
  • scholarships for graduating seniors 
  • staff appreciation events
  • outdoor picnic tables for lunch
  • ceiling fans for 4th floor 
  • Unity Day
  • Homecoming
