Reading Memorial High School is proud to offer over 70 clubs and activities for students to explore. Whether you’re interested in the arts, academics, community service, leadership, or just looking to try something brand new, there is truly something for everyone here.

Getting involved is a fantastic way to meet new people, build lasting leadership skills, and make the most of your time as a Rocket!

    Harmonium

    Harmonium is RMHS’s contemporary a cappella group. This 16-voice auditioned ensemble (soprano, alto, tenor, bass, and vocal percussion) performs popular music from all eras. Members need strong music reading skills, confident stage presence, and excellent intonation. Harmonium performs at concerts and community events throughout the year, with auditions held early in the fall.

    Rocket Ambassadors

    Advisors: Ms. Keefe, Ms. Chaves

    Rocket Ambassadors are a group of carefully selected 11th and 12th graders representing the wide variety of interests and identities at RMHS.  They volunteer their time to assist with running orientation and serving as mentors to 9th grade students by having a consistent positive presence in their flex blocks in the fall.  They are committed to making RMHS a welcoming and inclusive place and to help with the 9th grade transition, as well as transfer students and the greater RMHS community. The Rocket Ambassador program is a one-year, selective position in which students will need to apply and be selected. Applications are available in the spring and reviewed by a committee with feedback from teachers, counselors, and administrators.
